Itinerary:
Day 1: Seminyak / Bali - Amed North/East Bali
Start point of our tour is Kerobokan. Heading eastward we escape of Denpasar’s traffic. After we have passed Gianyar and Klungkung we will dive in to the beautiful countryside around Sidemen where we will have a coffee break with view. A quite small road with lot of curves and a stunning view to Bali’s South East will let the biker’s heart beat faster and leads us downhill to the main street near Candi Dasa. Few kilometers later we arrive at Taman Sukasada, the water palace of the former Karangasem king. Dependent on arrival time and hunger we will visit the garden first or have lunch first. Leaving in direction Amed we follow the coastline where the narrow road winds along mountain slopes. While we pass some villages, we always have the beautiful view of the ocean right hand. In the early afternoon we will check in to our hotel near Jemeluk. After approximately an hour to relax and get rid of the dust of the ride we have to get back to the bikes to visit the probably most beautiful temple of east Bali, Lempuyang with its famous “heaven’s” gate. The way to the temple leads through a lush green valley and over a pass at 650 meters above sea level. Via another road we drive back to our hotel where we will have dinner.

Day 2: Amed - central Bali - Seminyak
The early bird catches the best view! The sunrise will start short past 6 thus we have to wake up early. After having breakfast we will go to Jemeluk Beach for snorkeling at the house reef which is very close (no boat needed). We will have an early lunch as we still have a packed afternoon ahead. Our next goal is Jagasastru, a 40-meters waterfall near Selat. The tiny road to the waterfall is quite steep and requests a bit of driving experience. Now the “driving part” of the tour starts. Small roads away from the tourist areas lead us up and down through the beautiful landscape include a bamboo forest, jungle-like forest, rice terraces, rivers….an exciting bike ride !!! A coffee plantation is awaiting us for a break. There we will have the possibility to test some tea and coffee, include the famous Luwak coffee as well as to get a clue of the process of the traditional coffee production. We continue our way towards Denpasar on those kind of small roads with just few traffic till we reach the outskirts of Denpasar. Some kilometers more we will reach the endpoint of our tour.

"Treasures of East Bali" Motorbike Tour”
As I have found good recommendation of MAB here and in the net I tried my luck. I have chosen the tour to Amed. I'm just a bit experienced on bikes but got properly briefed by Chris. The bike was in very good conditions, i had no problems with it. It was an amazing tour with lot of attractions...temples, waterfalls, king's palace and lot of landscape. Thanks a lot to the guide who was patient with me. I will be back to Bali and will definitely use MAB again. Thanks again to the MAB team ! Regards Moka
