Day 1: Seminyak – Sidemen – Amed
Our adventure begins in Kerobokan as we ride east, leaving Denpasar's busy traffic behind. Passing through Gianyar and Klungkung, we enter the peaceful countryside of Sidemen, where we'll stop for a coffee break with stunning views of the surrounding valleys and rice fields.
From here, the road becomes a rider's paradise, with winding curves and spectacular views over Bali's southeastern coastline. Descending towards Candidasa, we arrive at Taman Ujung Sukasada, the beautiful royal water palace of the former King of Karangasem. Depending on our arrival time, we'll either explore the palace gardens before lunch or enjoy lunch first.
In the afternoon, we continue along Bali's scenic east coast toward Amed. The narrow coastal road hugs the mountainside, offering breathtaking ocean views as we pass traditional fishing villages. After checking in at our hotel near Jemeluk Beach, you'll have time to relax before we head back out to visit Lempuyang Temple, home to the famous "Gate of Heaven." The ride to the temple winds through lush green valleys and climbs to around 650 meters above sea level, rewarding us with incredible scenery along the way.
After exploring the temple, we return to our hotel in Amed for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Amed – Central Bali – Seminyak
Start the day early to experience one of Bali's most beautiful sunrises. After breakfast, we'll head to Jemeluk Beach for a snorkeling session at the vibrant house reef, located just offshore—no boat required.
Following an early lunch, we ride to Jagasatru Waterfall, a hidden 40-meter waterfall near Selat. The steep access road adds a touch of adventure and is perfect for riders who enjoy more technical roads. The afternoon is all about enjoying some of Bali's best motorcycle routes. We'll ride through quiet back roads surrounded by bamboo forests, tropical jungle, rice terraces, rivers, and traditional villages, far away from the island's busy tourist areas.
Our final stop is a local coffee plantation, where you'll learn about traditional coffee production and sample a variety of Balinese teas and coffees, including the famous Luwak coffee. From there, we continue our scenic ride toward Denpasar, following peaceful country roads before reaching Kerobokan, where our East Bali Loop adventure comes to an end.
