Itinerary:
Day 1: Seminyak - Toya Bungkah, Lake Batur
Over small side streets through magnificent rice field landscapes, it goes through Gianyar to the peaceful Tirta Suda Mala Temple.
A important ceremony place for the Hindu Religion of Bali.
After an first refreshment, we leave this place at a small river and continue through secondary routes to Bangli. There we visit the temple "Pura Kehen".
Above all, this temple looks from outside graceful. We will have lunch in a co_y warung serving authentic Balinese food.
Beyond Bangli, on a little winding street, we reach an old Balinese village.
It goes higher up into the Balinese mountains. It is getting a little fresher.
Our curvaceous rise is rewarded with a fantastic view over the Mount Batur and the huge crater around.
This area is well visited, so it is time to drive into the crater (steep road).
The “Batur loop” brings us close to the traditional village life. After our check-in to a hotel directly at the shore of the lake we can relax in hot springs. A restaurant nearby will offer dinner.
Day 1: Seminyak - Toya Bungkah, Lake Batur

Day 2: Mount Batur, Hot Springs, Kintamani Temple, Coffee Farm
After a decent breakfast we will leave Toya Bunkah to continue the exploration of the balinese culture. Our first stop will be just 15 min away where are 2 beautiful temples located,
directly at the shore of the batur lake where we can do a boat ride to the statue of the princess of the water.
The stunning view to Mount Batur, which perched over the lake, completes this stop.
To reach our next goal we have to ride up to the rim what needs a bit experience in biking due to the steep winding road. Some kilometers further the second most important temple will welcome us, Pura Ulun Danu Batur.
After having visited parts of that huge temple and having last look down the crater we will turn southward towards the small town Tampaksiring.
Before visiting 2 ancient places we will stop at a Warung (small local resto) to have a lunch break. Tirta Empul, our next place to go, is just a minute away. This Vishnu dedicated temple with its holy springs is the ritual purification of the Hindus.
Literally just crossing the main street we will find the 10 rock - cut shrines of Gunung Kawi, a funerary complex of the Udayana Dynasty.
Getting probadly overwhelmed by the Balinese culture we will get another rest at a Luwak coffee plantation (test and taste the coffee) before heading home to Kuta.

Mt. batur guided motorbike tourI have joined that 2-days guided tour to Bangli, Batur, Gunung Kawi and so on. Just to say it has been a great experience. I got a clue of some beautiful spots of Bali, the bike ride in the countryside has been amazing, despite a bit of rain. Good accommodation, even with their own hot spring pool.
