Central Bali Highlands & The Pupuan Pass
08:30 | The Morning Blast (Canggu to Pupuan)
Skip the main highways and head west toward Tabanan. Once you hit the Pupuan Road, the real fun begins. This is arguably the best "rider's road" in Bali—perfectly banked curves, lush greenery, and very little truck traffic. Whether you are leaning into corners on an NMax or soaking up the bumps on an ADV, this stretch is pure flow.
11:00 | The Ridge Run (Pupuan to Blimbing)
Instead of stopping for temples, we stay on the ridge. This section offers high-speed sweepers and incredible views of the rice terraces—which you can enjoy at 60kph. It’s a technical section that rewards smooth throttle control.
13:00 | Power Lunch in the Highlands
A quick stop at a local "Warung with a View" overlooking the valley. High-protein, high-energy food to keep the focus sharp for the afternoon descent.
14:00 | The Descent (Mount Batukaru Foothills)
We head toward the base of Mount Batukaru. The roads here become narrower and more "authentic"—think rural backroads with sharp hairpins and sudden elevation changes. It’s a playground for ADV bikes but perfectly manageable for a skilled NMax rider.
15:30 | The Coffee Coastline (Seseh Backroads)
As we head back toward the coast, we weave through the secret "short-cuts" of the Seseh and Pererenan rice fields. It’s the perfect end-of-day cruise to cool down the engines.

Awesome Private Guided trip in Bali countryside!
I was planning a last minute MC rental to spend a day trip in the Bali countryside, but instead decided to hire both the MC and the guide for the day which ended up being a great decision. The German owned company is top notch from the owner to the guide and I got just what I asked from them...top quality motorcycles to choose from and a fast paced multi terrain tour of some amazing countryside all the way to the north coast and back. No tourists, no double backs, no prolonged breaks, just a long 10 hour day of awesome riding with Holger (my guide) who knew all the back roads and old trails to get the most from the day. That is what I asked for and they delivered! Highly recommended! Next time I will ride across Indonesia with them!
